THE PROPERTY OMBUDSMAN (TPO)
The Property Ombudsman (TPO) provides fair and reasonable resolutions to disputes between members of the public and estate agents who are members of the TPO Scheme or who have registered with the TPO Approved Estate Agents Redress Scheme. Firms who are members, follow the TPO Code of Practice for Residential Sales.

NLA seek a fair legal and regulatory environment for landlord and tenant, and actively lobby the government at all levels on behalf of their members. They also help ensure that their members are aware of their statutory rights and responsibilities.
VisitSAFE AGENT FULLY ENDORSED (SAFE)
Safe Agent Fully Endorsed – is a mark denoting firms that protect landlords and tenants money through a client money protection scheme. Full details of the scope of the scheme can be obtained from the scheme operator.
VisitNATIONAL APPROVED LETTING SCHEME (NALS)
The National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS) is an accreditation scheme for lettings and management agents offering peace of mind to landlords and tenants in knowing that they are dealing with a firm which agrees to meet defined standards of customer service, together with having in place the necessary insurances to protect clients' money plus a customer complaints procedure offering independent redress.
